The analog alarm inputs can be configured to monitor either DC voltage or current. The patch panel provides the bias to the circuit. The AIC network module can be connected to a patch panel. The AIC network module has 16 control relay outputs. The last eight alarm inputs can be provisioned to accept analog inputs. Fifty-six alarm inputs are discrete and can operate on dry contact closure when a patch panel is used. The AIC network module, shown in Figure 1, supports 64 alarm inputs.

The Nx Dante-8 supports primary and secondary network connections for redundancy purposes. Primary and secondary 1 Gb ports provide system redundancy for the most demanding applications, while eight Dante audio inputs and eight Dante audio outputs enable extensive audio routing capabilities.Īdditionally, local analog audio inputs at the amplifier can be routed over the network allowing other network audio devices to receive the audio streams.Ĭontrol data and audio are delivered on the same UTP cable. Providing advanced audio control and routing, the Nx Dante-8 module fits into the rear bay of CKd Series power amps and supports all NexSys functions, DSP functions and Dante digital audio I/O via 1 Gb Ethernet connection.

The Crest NexSys Nx-8 Network Audio Interface module delivers eight (8) channels of streaming audio, via the Dante® steaming audio protocol, and works in tandem with the Crest Audio CKd™ Series of intelligent power amplifiers (sold separately) to support Crest NexSys 5 and Peavey® MediaMatrix® NWare™ audio software programs.
